Our group made a website through Coppermine PhotoGallery. The website we created was made for up-and-coming artists, where they could post their work to be viewed by all. The art could be rated and commented upon by anyone who accesses the site. The purpose was to allow artists to gain recognition among fellow artists and art lovers that share their same passion. Unlike some of the other groups, we did not run into very many problems. We were able to upload, crop, and comment on photos with little trouble. We were also able to change the background of the website, and allow each adminstrative user to work the cite with their own choice of background. I think this was mainly because our website was not very complex. It was easy to set up and was user friendly from either end. Our website is quite functional and we think it could be used in a real-world context.
